The California Fair Employment poster has been updated to reflect a new protected category. Employers are prohibited from discharging employees or refusing to hire individuals based on their off-duty use of cannabis. The Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance poster has been updated with new information on how to apply for unemployment insurance benefits. January 16, 2024 Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave
The Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated to reflect changes to filing claims and employee job protections. Approved applications will be paid by the FAMLI Division within two weeks after the claim is filed, and weekly thereafter for the duration of the approved leave. January 16, 2024 Maryland Minimum Wage
The Maryland Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect a correction to the 2024 minimum wage. The minimum wage increase effective January 1, 2024, from $13.25 per hour for large employers and from $12.80 per hour for small employers to $15.00 per hour, applies to all employers. The Nevada Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Leave Bulletin poster has been updated to reflect a new law amending Chapter 608 of the Nevada Revised Statutes.
