Labor Law Updates

The Minnesota Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage rate for large employers will increase from $10.08 per hour to $10.33 per hour and for small employers from $8.21 per hour to $8.42 per hour. The Virginia OSHA poster has been updated to reflect new mandatory penalty amounts for each serious violation, non-serious violation, and daily penalty for failing to correct a violation. The penalty for willful violations also increased. Order Updated Poster >

The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave poster has been updated with an adjusted contribution rate and benefit amount under the state Paid Family and Medical Leave Act. Employers may deduct payroll contributions of up to 0.344% from a covered individual’s wages or other earnings, and the maximum weekly amount of benefits available to eligible individuals will increase to $1,084.31 per week. The Ohio Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase from $8.80 per hour to $9.30 per hour effective January 1, 2022 for non-tipped employees, and from $4.40 per hour to $4.65 per hour for tipped employees. Order Updated Poster >

The Arizona Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase from $12.15 per hour to $12.80 per hour effective January 1, 2022. Order Updated Poster >

The Vermont Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase from $11.75 per hour to $12.55 per hour effective January 1, 2022. The basic wage rate for service and tipped employees will also increase to $6.28 per hour. Order Updated Poster >

The Montana Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase from $8.75 per hour to $9.20 per hour effective January 1, 2022. Order Updated Poster >

The Kentucky OSHA poster has been updated with new workplace injury and illness reporting requirements. Employers must now report to the Division of Occupational Safety and Health Compliance the work-related death of an employee, including death resulting from a heart attack, within 8 hours, from when the incident is reported to the employer, the employer’s agent, or another employee. Work-related incidents resulting in the loss of an eye, an amputation, or the in-patient hospitalization of an employee, including hospitalization resulting from a heart attack, must be reported to the Division of Occupational Safety and Health Compliance within 72 hours from when the incident is reported to the employer, the employer’s agent, or another employee. The Massachusetts COVID-19 Emergency Paid Sick Leave poster has been updated to reflect an extension until April 1, 2022, or the exhaustion of program funds as determined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The law requires employers to make paid leave time available to employees for COVID-19 related illnesses, quarantine, and vaccinations. Order Updated Poster >
