The Colorado Paid Leave and Whistleblower poster has been updated to reflect expanded qualifying reasons an employee may take leave under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. The expanded leave provisions include grieving, attending funeral services or memorial, or to deal with financial and legal matters after the death of a family member, or evacuation of the employee’s place of residence, or closure of a family member’s school or place of care, due to unexpected occurrence such as inclement weather or power/heat/water loss.
